Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our vibrant café team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth kitchen operations by preparing fresh, high-quality food and baked goods, while helping to create a welcoming, customer-focused café experience. Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare a variety of breakfast and lunch items, including sandwiches, salads, and baked goods, following café recipes and presentation standards.
• Daily Operations: Assist with kitchen opening and closing procedures, maintain stocked prep stations, and ensure equipment and ingredients are ready for service.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with local health regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with baristas and kitchen team to ensure timely service and a seamless guest experience.
• Equipment Use: Operate ovens, mixers, slicers, and other kitchen tools safely and efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or similar food service environment preferred
• Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and safe food handling practices
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail in preparation and presentation
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and a passion for hospitality
• Physically able to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
• Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, holidays, and occasional events
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to company standards for time and attendance
