FOOD SERVER at KidsPeace Childrens Hospital – Orefield, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

The Food Server is responsible for assisting in the preparation and service of all meals to clients and staff within the organization.

Job Duties/ Essential Functions

• Transport and distribute meals throughout food service locations.
• Load, transport, and unload food service equipment to and from service locations
• Follow daily cycle menu and production worksheets to include snacks and special diets. Record daily food preparation and usage / report special diet meal changes at point of service.
• Assure overall sanitation and general cleaning of serving areas.
• Prepare cold food according to established procedures and/or recipes.
• Assist in special events as necessary.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences)

1. HS Diploma or GED required OR 5 years of relatable life and/or work experience to be verified by references and/or employment verification.
2. Prior food service experience preferred.
3. Able to work with children.
4. Valid driver's license required if primary work location is within Lehigh or Northampton counties. (Driver's License not required, specifically, in the Bethlehem, PA programs)
5. Must be at least 21 years of age.
