About This Position
We are looking for someone passionate about the culinary arts to join our Culinary/Baker Shop team. This individual must be creative, motivated, and passionate about growing their talents in the kitchen!
Successful candidates for this role will have previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, with a strong desire to learn, to develop skills and work with the culinary leadership team to create menus which reflect seasonal availability and concept of the restaurant.
The Baker assists the culinary leadership team in production and fabrication of desserts and pastry products for our Banquet and PINE Restaurant.

Your role:
- Follows recipes and/or product directions.
- Measures and mixes baking ingredients using a variety of devices.
- Prepares items from scratch or box-scratch such as breads, rolls, muffins, biscuits, pies, cakes, cookies pastries, and other desserts.
- Checks production and keeps records in order to accurately plan production requirements.
- Measures and mixes baking ingredients using a variety of devices.
- Molds ingredients into loaves/shapes.
- Places products into correctly prepared pans.
- Places items in ovens.
- Regulates the temperatures of the ovens.
- Removes baked items from ovens and applies appropriate toppings.
- May decorate cakes, cookies, pastries and other desserts.
- Measures and mixes baking ingredients using a variety of devices.
- Requisitions supplies and equipment as needed.
- Follows all applicable food regulatory rules and procedures.
- May clean and sanitize workstations and equipment.
