Crouse Health is hiring an Assistant to the Director within the Educational and Professional Development department.


Assistant to the Director Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support to the assigned Director as well as other department leadership and staff.
  • Duties may include but not limited to:
    • Scheduling/Coordinating meeting arrangements.
    • Confidential material preparation.
    • Accounts payable.
    • Payroll and clerical support.
  • Creates invoice, bills and collects registration fees from all community participants
  • Provide monthly student reports to Quality Improvement, Grants Administrator and Finance.
  • Collaborates with IRB/CME Administrator that ensures compliance with IRB/CME rules and regulations.
  • Manage onboarding of students requesting clinical and non-clinical academically required experiences at Crouse Health. This includes verification and /or facilitation of an affiliation agreement with the requesting academic institution, providing the electronic student packet link to the clinical coordinator and/or student, review and verify completion of all required documents and criminal background checks, facilitate academic experience requirements with appropriate Crouse Health preceptors, notify HR for temporary ID badge and IT for EHR access as needed, maintain and retain excel spreadsheets with student data according to policy, initiate revision of student documents and orientation handbook. QI reporting and Data Management.

Assistant to the Director Position Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Three (3) - Five (5) years in professional, fast-paced office setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
