Senior Engineering Technician - Public Works (Part Time) at City of Commerce City – Commerce City, Colorado

The Senior Engineering Technician (part-time) is a key position which assists the Public Works in a variety of technical and administrative tasks essential to the successful completion of projects undertaken by the department. Work involves performing a variety of technical engineering tasks in support of project planning, design, construction, inspections, asset inventory/data collection, and Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) request responses.

Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Surveying (or closely related field). Five or more years’ experience in computer drafting, research, surveying, design, and GIS or asset management experience using ArcGIS. Experience using engineering software such as AutoCad Map, ArcGIS and/or ArcMAP. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.
