  • Provide technical consulting, integration, and project support for the installation, upgrade, migration, and maintenance of SCADA, Energy Management Systems (EMS), and Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS).

  • Work with clients to gather detailed functional and technical requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.

  • Diagnose system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with customers, vendors, and engineering teams to resolve technical problems.

  • Advise clients on SCADA, EMS, and ADMS lifecycle strategies, operational improvements, maintenance planning, and tactical technology decisions.

  • Develop methodologies, project plans, technical estimates, reports, and other client-facing deliverables while maintaining project scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards.

  • Manage assigned project deliverables and hours, monitor progress, and maintain regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with globally distributed colleagues to coordinate project activities and deliver consistent consulting services.

  • Contribute to proposals, case studies, project documentation, and other business development materials.

  • Identify potential client challenges and business opportunities and communicate them to management.

  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of technical capabilities across the team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline, or comparable professional experience and demonstrated technical capability.

  • At least 5 years of experience working with SCADA, EMS, or ADMS, particularly in IT/OT projects involving system delivery and integration for utility clients.

  • Strong AspenTech/OSI Monarch EMS & ADMS experience is required to be considered.

  • Experience with Monarch advanced applications and capabilities such as network modeling, contingency planning, power-flow analysis, Automatic Generation Control, Volt/VAR optimization, continuous voltage regulation, fault location and restoration, and outage management.

  • Experience executing end-to-end vendor functionality and system integration testing, including FAT, SAT, and UAT.

  • Strong understanding of operational technology solutions and utility industry systems, processes, and regulations.

  • Experience with testing and defect-management tools such as HPQC, Jira, or qTest.

  • Proficiency with EMS modeling and display-building tools and relevant domains including SCADA, generation, network operations, and dispatcher/operator training simulators.

  • Experience with modern programming or scripting languages and SQL relational databases.

  • Strong technical knowledge of virtualization environments, Windows Server, Windows desktop, and Linux.

  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and deliver smaller projects with limited supervision.

  • Strong project organization skills and the ability to meet deadlines while managing client expectations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation and deliver effective presentations.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, initiative, self-motivation, and willingness to continuously develop technical expertise.

  • Ability to build productive relationships with clients, project teams, and globally distributed colleagues.

  • U.S. or Canadian citizenship or valid work authorization required.

  • Willingness to travel occasionally and work evenings or weekends when required for consulting engagements or business development activities.

Benefits
  • Estimated annual salary range of $105,000–$148,000 USD, depending on experience, qualifications, and individual circumstances.

  • Eligibility to participate in a profit-sharing program, subject to applicable program rules and individual and organizational performance.

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance for U.S.-based employees.

  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.

  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage.

  • Basic life insurance and well-being benefits.

  • 10 scheduled paid holidays per calendar year.

  • 10 days of paid sick leave per year.

  • Up to 15 days of accrued paid vacation for regular full-time employees.

  • Fully remote working environment with flexibility and autonomy.

  • Opportunities for technical development, leadership growth, mentoring, and exposure to diverse energy-sector projects.
