Galaxy Lifts is seeking a motivated individual to join as a Shipping Clerk who is responsible for keeping the warehouse running smoothly by preparing outgoing shipments, organizing finished inventory, and reviewing shipment scheduled to properly coordinate with production for the delivery of our cargo and passenger lifts.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES:

• Receive and inspect incoming materials, products, and shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
• Review upcoming shipments and proactively pull, stage, and prepare inventory for scheduled loads
• Pick, pack, and ship parts, accessories, and finished goods in accordance with customer requirements and company standards
• Create shipping labels, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation as needed
• Monitor and respond to shipping-related emails and communications in a timely and professional manner
• Fulfill customer orders in NetSuite, ensuring accuracy, timely shipment, and proper inventory transactions
• Utilize NetSuite to review, release, pick, pack, and complete sales orders while maintaining accurate order records
• Process sales orders efficiently while meeting established deadlines and service expectations
• Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to accurately scan inventory into and out of warehouse locations
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper transaction processing, cycle count support, and adherence to established procedures
• Pull and stage accessories, parts, and materials to support customer orders and production requirements
• Restock inventory and maintain organized warehouse locations to optimize efficiency and accessibility
• Monitor inventory levels and understand material requirements based on sales orders, committed inventory, and business demand
• Follow established replenishment and reordering processes to support inventory availability and operational continuity
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, banding equipment, and other warehouse machinery
• Use hand tools as required for packaging, assembly, and shipment preparation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment while complying with company policies and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in shipping and receiving as well as forklift operation is required
• Basic computer knowledge is required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to stand, push, pull, carry, squat, kneel and maneuver through the production warehouse
• Local to Mabank-Athens, TX or willing to relocate
