About the Role

The Copier Fleet & Mail Operations Client Services Representative serves as the primary operational support contact for all Canon copiers across the main University of Louisville campus and surrounding local locations. This role ensures maximum equipment uptime by managing first-response support and overseeing end-to-end toner and consumable supplies. Additionally, the position provides support to University mail operations, including mail sorting, package processing, and off-campus mail delivery routes using a company-provided vehicle.



Your Impact

1. Canon Copier Fleet Management & First-Response Support
Serve as the dedicated first-line support for all Canon copiers, multi-function printers (MFDs), and desktop equipment across all University of Louisville campuses and satellite locations.
Diagnose and resolve routine issues (e.g., paper jams, error codes, quality issues) promptly to minimize downtime.
Escalate technical failures to Canon Service and manage tickets through resolution.
Monitor fleet health telemetry, usage metrics, and error logs to identify recurring issues or necessary device repositioning.

2. Toner & Consumables Supply Management
Oversee and optimize toner and staple inventory for the entire University copier fleet.
Manage supply ordering processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
Deliver and install replacement toner cartridges, waste toner containers, and maintenance items on-site as needed.
Track usage patterns to forecast demand and eliminate stockouts during high-volume academic periods.

3. Mail & Logistics Operations Support
Assist main campus mailroom operations with incoming mail sorting, metering, and high-volume package processing.
Execute scheduled driving routes using a Canon fleet vehicle to collect and distribute mail across surrounding University of Louisville campuses and local facilities.

4. Process Improvement & Quality Assurance
Proactively analyze daily workflows, routes, and supply distribution models to identify bottlenecks.
Recommend and implement practical efficiencies to enhance overall service delivery, shorten response times, and reduce operational costs for the university.

Please note: this is a customer-facing role, and requires compliance with customer policies and protocols, which may include COVID-19 vaccination and other measures relating to COVID-19. H

HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
- Prior experience in a customer service environment.
- Good computer skills/technical knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in order to meet deadlines.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work OT as needed.
- Required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers' premises.
- May require driving between multiple client locations, may also require a personal vehicle (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to spend extended periods of time standing, bending, walking, reaching, and pulling while performing duties.

In accordance with applicable law, we are providing the anticipated rate for this role: $17.20 - $23.37 hourly
