Overview
The Presbyterian Association of Musicians (PAM) seeks a creative and organized Digital Communications & Graphic Design Associate to support the organization's communications, marketing, website, and design efforts. This position plays a key role in promoting PAM's programs, events, resources, and mission through compelling communications and consistent branding.
This position averages 15-20 hours per week. Responsibilities vary throughout the year, with some duties occurring regularly and others tied to seasonal publications, conferences, and special projects.
Primary Responsibilities
Communications
- Create and distribute newsletters, email communications, and promotional materials.
- Manage communications through MemberClicks and other digital platforms.
- Maintain PAM's visual identity and style standards.
Graphic Design & Marketing
- Design digital and print materials for events, programs, resources, and organizational initiatives.
- Develop event branding and promotional campaigns.
- Assist with annual publications and marketing materials.
Website & Digital Platforms
- Maintain and update PAM's website and membership portal.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure content is accurate, current, and engaging.
- Assist with future website improvements and redesign projects.
Conferences & Events
- Support communications and design needs for PAM conferences and events.
- Create event materials, presentations, webpages, and promotional resources.
- Provide communications support during major organizational events.
Administrative Support
- Coordinate Zoom meetings and selected communication-related administrative tasks.
- Maintain organized digital files, resources, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in communications, marketing, graphic design, or a related field.
- Experience in communications, marketing, graphic design, or related work.
- Strong written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and design aesthetics.
- Experience with Adobe InDesign preferred. Candidates with strong graphic design skills and a willingness to learn InDesign through training and professional development are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with Canva, Wix, social media platforms, and standard office software is preferred.
