This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Account Executive based in the United States.
This is a high-impact sales role within a scaling SaaS environment that combines startup agility with an established customer base.
You’ll own the full sales cycle across Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts, with a strong emphasis on outbound pipeline generation.
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you’ll play a central role in shaping the next stage of the sales organization.
The role blends strategic prospecting, consultative selling, relationship building, negotiation, and deal execution.
You’ll work across shorter and longer sales cycles while engaging multiple stakeholders within target organizations.
Beyond closing business, you’ll help strengthen sales processes, operating rhythms, tools, and best practices.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced SaaS seller who thrives on ownership, initiative, and building something that is still evolving.
- Own the full sales cycle for Mid-Market and Enterprise opportunities, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and closing.
- Drive proactive outbound engagement through cold calls, personalized emails, industry conferences, networking, referrals, and other prospecting channels.
- Research target accounts, identify relevant prospects, generate new opportunities, and consistently build a healthy outbound pipeline.
- Manage inbound and referral leads while maintaining strong follow-up and opportunity progression.
- Lead discovery calls, product demonstrations, presentations, and follow-up conversations to understand customer needs and qualify opportunities.
- Develop compelling proposals and ROI business cases that demonstrate the value of the solution to prospective customers.
- Navigate consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and negotiate commercial terms when required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers to support both new business and account expansion.
- Improve sales processes, including presentation materials, call scripts, meeting templates, contract workflows, CRM processes, metrics, and dashboards.
- Lead weekly sales review meetings to evaluate opportunities, discuss deal progression, and support alignment across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Engineering, Product, and senior leadership to deliver strong customer experiences and support revenue growth.
- Partner with the founding team on sales and revenue initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of the sales organization.
Requirements:
- 5–8+ years of experience in quota-carrying, closing-focused B2B SaaS sales roles.
- Demonstrated experience selling to Enterprise or upper Mid-Market customers.
- Proven success managing consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial engagement through close.
- Track record of closing significant B2B SaaS deals, typically in the $50K–$250K+ range.
- Experience expanding customer accounts and identifying opportunities for additional revenue.
- Strong discovery, presentation, storytelling, and value-selling skills.
- Comfortable balancing inbound opportunities with proactive outbound prospecting and pipeline generation.
- Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to independently manage multiple opportunities and sales cycles end-to-end.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment where processes and operating models are still being developed.
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to contribute beyond individual deal execution by improving sales practices and systems.
Benefits:
- Base salary range of $180,000–$240,000 USD.
- Additional 5–10% bonus, depending on level and performance.
- Compensation tailored based on location, experience, education, and skillset.
- Commitment to equitable pay and alignment with relevant market data.
- Remote position based in the United States, with a particular focus on candidates located in New York.
- Opportunity to influence the development of a growing sales organization and its processes.
- Collaborative environment emphasizing respect, transparency, trust, and individual perspectives.
- Opportunity to work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product, and leadership teams.
- Equal-opportunity workplace committed to diversity and an environment free from discrimination and harassment.
