Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Trauma-Informed Care | Oregon (OR)

Summary

Bring your clinical expertise to a behavioral health program where trauma-informed care, community, and cultural connection matter. Tribal Health is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker to support the the Tribal Community in Oregon. This role offers a diverse caseload across the lifespan, with opportunities to provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy while supporting children, adults, and families impacted by trauma, behavioral health conditions, and substance use.

Specialty: Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Work Setting: Tribal outpatient/community behavioral health Youth & Family Guidance Center (Healing Place)

Schedule: Monday Friday (8:00 am 5:00 pm); may be required to work nights and/or weekends in emergency situations

Patient Mix by Age: All ages children through adults; must be comfortable seeing kids

Types of Cases:Trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance use disorder

Credentialing: 2-3 weeks

Contract Length: 26 weeks 52 weeks; open to locum to perm

Requirements:

Licensure: Any active state license

Education: Masters or Doctorate in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, or related behavioral health field

Experience: Clinical behavioral health/mental health experience required.

Must have experience with Trauma-Informed Care, including working with patients affected by physical, emotional, psychological, historical, or intergenerational trauma.

Preferred Training (Highly Valuable): EMDR, TF-CBT, DBT, CPP, Seeking Safety or other trauma-focused modalities

Clinician should be open to broad and varied caseload rather than someone whose experience is limited to one narrow population or diagnosis

Clinical Focus: Trauma, mood disorders, behavioral concerns, grief/loss, crisis intervention, suicide/self-harm risk, family and individual therapy

Therapy: Individual, family, couples and group counseling

Pediatric Services: Play therapy, parent education and school-based behavioral-health services

Environment: Multidisciplinary behavioral-health program with mental health, substance-use treatment, case management, peer support, prevention and recovery services
