Cardiovascular Invasive Registered Nurse (RN) (Cath LAB)
The Cardiovascular Invasive Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology, and other cardiovascular procedures. The RN is responsible for assessing patients, monitoring their condition, administering medications, assisting during procedures, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities
Assess patients before, during, and after cardiovascular procedures.
Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, and hemodynamic status.
Administer medications, IV therapies, moderate sedation, and treatments as authorized.
Assist cardiologists and other team members during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Recognize and respond promptly to changes in condition and cardiovascular emergencies.
Monitor vascular access sites and identify potential complications.
Provide preprocedural and postprocedural patient care.
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions.
Coordinate care with cardiologists and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Complete timely and accurate documentation.
Follow all patient-safety, radiation-safety, and infection-prevention standards.
Participate in on-call coverage when required by the facility.

Qualifications
Active RN license for the state of practice.
Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
Current American Heart Association ACLS certification required.
Minimum of one year of recent cardiac catheterization lab, interventional cardiology, or cardiovascular procedural experience.
Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring, and moderate sedation.
Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and emergency-response skills
