Friedman Industries is hiring a Forklift Operator to move steel — loading and unloading trucks, staging material, and keeping product flowing through the plant. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Operate a forklift safely — full participation in Friedman safety programs.
• Load and unload trucks to customer and Friedman requirements.
• Identify and stage material correctly and keep inventory paperwork accurate.
• Flag quality and service issues to supervisors and bring continuous-improvement ideas.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift operating experience (we certify you to Friedman standards).
• Flexible hours, fast pace, accurate detailed work.
• Team player who also works well independently.
NICE TO HAVE
• Current forklift certification.
• Steel or similar industrial experience; overhead crane exposure.
• Some post-high-school education.
