We are seeking a Basket Washer to join our hard working and fast-paced team. The Basket Washer is responsible for operating machines that wash baskets in our bakery. Places baskets into moveable bed, operates controls to set specifications of water or steam from jets in machine, starts machine that moves conveyor to clean basket, examines baskets and removes remaining foregin matter. This role may also measure and pour soap or detergent into wash water.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean basket washing equipment, walls and floors using specific procedures as directed.
Follow up specific instructions to clean equipment and area. Comply with Confined Space Policy and Procedure.
Keep accurate records of cleaning performed and inspect for areas needing attention.
Keep foreperson or manager informed of any unsanitary practices that may be occurring in the area.
Additional duties and or responsibilities as assigned.
Support and adherence to Franz Core Values
Related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.
Some previous work experience preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to life up to 50 lbs frequently.
Must be able to stand for 8 or more hours and perform repetitive reaching and grasping tools and equipment.
Frequent Kneeling/squatting, bending, lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling of 50 to 100 lbs.
Must be able to work any day, including holidays and any shift.
Must have reliable attendance to meet employers attendance standards for 24/7 production.
Ability to work in high temperature environments.
Will be exposed to cleaning solutions, flour dust, dust and various chemicals.
Adherence to company values.
