This role focuses on supporting speech and language data projects that contribute to the improvement of AI-driven speech recognition systems. You will work with audio recordings and spoken content, transforming them into structured, accurate, and well-annotated text data. The position involves a strong mix of linguistic analysis, transcription accuracy, and quality validation, ensuring that language datasets meet high standards for machine learning applications. You will analyze grammar, syntax, and sentence structure while applying linguistic principles to real-world spoken data. - Transcribe spoken audio and speech recordings into accurate written text with high attention to detail.
- Annotate and summarize spoken content to support structured language datasets.
- Identify and correct grammatical, syntactical, and structural errors in transcribed material.
- Analyze sentence construction, word order, and linguistic patterns to ensure language accuracy.
- Apply understanding of phonetics and phonology in evaluating spoken data.
- Perform proofreading, validation, and quality checks to ensure dataset consistency and reliability.
- Contribute to improving AI speech models through high-quality linguistic data preparation.
- Experience in copywriting, proofreading, content creation, translation, or report writing is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, or related fields.
- Strong command of English grammar, syntax, and written communication.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect subtle language inconsistencies.
- Strong listening and comprehension skills, especially for audio-based content.
- Familiarity with speech, transcription, or annotation work is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a structured, quality-driven environment.
- Competitive monthly compensation in the range of 20,000–24,000 (in-hand).
