Bosch Building Technologies Integrator Business
The regional system integration business called Bosch Building Technologies offers solutions and customized services for building security, energy efficiency, and building automation for commercial buildings and infrastructure projects Bosch started its Integrator Business in North America through the acquisition of Climatec in 2015. Climatec expanded Bosch’s role as a comprehensive supplier of energy, building automation and security solutions. Climatec is recognized in the building industry as an independent single-source integrator of critical building systems including energy services, building automation and security & life safety in the U.S. market. The company provides consulting, planning, implementation and 24/7 remote management. Climatec is active in several market segments and industries including data centers, commercial real estate buildings, and federal, state, and local government. Climatec has operated as an independent entity, maintaining its offices in Arizona, California, Nevada, Texas, New York, and New Jersey. Climatec continues to represent and integrate numerous leading manufactures’ product lines across its wide range of services, including Bosch products. In 2023, Bosch acquired Canadian-based security integrator Paladin Technologies. Merging Paladin Technologies and Climatec will significantly expand Bosch’s Integrator Business in North America. - Review project requirements and installation plan with the project teamSchedule projects with project management and assign technical and asset resourcesCommunicate with all internal project team membersReview job packages upon receipt for job cost accuracyReview and keep current job labor reports for all open projects – ensure hours spent on projects are within budgetAdminister a corrective action plan when hours being used are in excess of the budgeted hours.Review system installations to ensure best practices are usedSupervise and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to optimize their performanceEnsure technicians maintain appropriate appearance and conduct on all assigned projectsFacilitate the staging of materials for projectsEnsure project team has the proper tools for the jobClose out projects in a timely manner and obtain customer sign-offCompile and deliver all project final deliverablesFacilitate and assist in client trainings on an as needed basisTravel to sites required throughout employment, local travel only, typicallyCollaborate with sales and business development teams to identify opportunities for upselling or expanding servicesAny additional required tasks
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Access control, Intrusion, Locking mechanisms and Surveillance cameras, Telecommunications and Audio Visual Systems.Valid Washington State EL06 (Limited Energy) License, with the ability to maintain active licensure throughout employment.Proven track record of successfully managing and completing projects within budget and scheduleIn-depth knowledge of low voltage systems, industry standards, and regulationsValid driver license and clean driving recordIndustry education and experience requiredExperience in Word, Excel and OutlookProficient with Computers and Troubleshooting
