HME is looking for your talent! If you are a Janitor, we would love to hear from you! In this role, you will maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
The hours/days for this position are the 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.
What you will do in the position:
- Provide general housecleaning duties in accordance with the approved schedule.
- Clean, disinfect, and resupply restrooms.
- Remove litter, wastepaper, and broken-down boxes from buildings, disposing of waste in proper dumpsters (i.e. recyclable, non-recyclable).
- Vacuum carpeted floors and performs high and low dusting.
- Maintain cleanliness of carpeted and tiled floors.
- Wet mop tile floors and performs spot-cleaning, as needed.
- Provide general maintenance and secures storage/supply rooms.
- Escort cleaning suppliers making deliveries.
- Assist with construction, moving of furniture and shelving, and replacement of light bulbs/ballasts as assigned.
- Keep track of ladders, vacuums, and other equipment used within scope of job.
What you will need to succeed in this position:
- Knowledge of and safe use of all cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Experience with floor care machines, striping and waxing.
- Average mechanical aptitude.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- 3+ years of experience preferred.
Pay Range: $18.00/hr - $19.81/hr. + shift differential. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors.
