Job Description

Tague Lumber is hiring a creative, energetic, and detail-oriented Digital Media Specialist to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on storytelling through video, photography, and social media while using data and analytics to drive engagement.

As our Digital Media Specialist, you'll create compelling content, manage our digital presence, and help showcase our brand across multiple platforms. From filming at job sites and company events to producing engaging social media campaigns, you'll play a key role in telling our story and connecting with customers, employees, and industry partners.

What You'll Do

Social Media Management

• Develop and execute social media strategies that align with company marketing goals.

• Plan, create, schedule, and manage content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and X using Sprout Social.

• Write engaging captions, social media copy, and digital advertising content.

• Monitor social channels, engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and help manage the company's online reputation.

Digital Marketing

• Update website content and maintain Google Business profiles and other online platforms.

• Assist with the creation and distribution of company email newsletters using Mailchimp.

• Create and publish mobile-first content, including short-form videos and real-time social media updates from company events and job sites.

Video & Multimedia Production

• Plan, film, edit, and produce high-quality video content for social media, YouTube, website features, promotional campaigns, and company events.

• Capture content at meetings, customer projects, and special events.

• Operate and maintain cameras, lighting, audio, drone, and other multimedia equipment.

• Edit photos and videos using Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

• Organize and maintain digital photo and video libraries within Dropbox.

Strategy & Analytics

• Track and analyze social media and video performance metrics.

• Provide recommendations to improve future campaigns using data and analytics.

• Stay current with emerging social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.

• Ensure compliance with vendor advertising co-op guidelines and brand standards.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Film, or a related field.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, or video production.

Technical Skills

Preferred experience with:

• Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Bridge, Acrobat)

• Canva

• Sprout Social

• Meta Business Suite

• Mailchimp

• Microsoft Office Suite

• Dropbox

• Sony A7 III camera system and interchangeable lenses

• Insta360 and GoPro cameras

• DJI Air 2S drone

• RODE Wireless GO II audio equipment

Bonus Skills

• Experience with WordPress, HTML, CSS, or website management.

• Willingness to travel to company locations, customer job sites, meetings, and events as needed to capture content.
