PURPOSE:
Switchpoint Coffee Shop is in search for an experienced line cook to join our talented team and
help prepare meals. You will be responsible for setting up the prep station and maintaining sanitation standards. The Line Cook plays a vital role in our coffee shop kitchen, responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes.

Part-Time Position
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, season, and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Oversee the coffee kitchen, providing guidance on food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and stored properly.
- Ensure all dishes are plated and presented to the Coffee Shop food standards and safety regulations, and enforce strict hygiene practices.
- Address any kitchen issues or concerns promptly to maintain smooth operations.
- Foster a positive and cooperative work environment by working well with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task efficiently.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Baking experience preferred
Physical Requirement
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
- Standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs for extended periods.

Compensation
Starting wage: $16/hour
