This role is a key leadership opportunity focused on building and scaling high-performing engineering teams responsible for delivering reliable, scalable, and secure distributed systems. You will shape engineering execution across complex SaaS products, ensuring technical excellence while fostering a strong culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Working closely with product, UX, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help translate strategic priorities into robust technical delivery. The environment is fast-paced, innovation-driven, and centered on leveraging modern engineering practices and AI-enabled workflows. You will play a pivotal role in coaching engineers and managers, driving delivery consistency, and elevating system reliability at scale. This is a highly impactful position where leadership directly influences product quality, engineering maturity, and organizational growth.
Lead engineering teams to design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and high-availability distributed systems while driving execution excellence and delivery predictability. You will be responsible for ensuring strong technical governance, team performance, and cross-functional alignment across the organization.
- Lead, coach, and grow engineers and engineering managers, fostering high performance and a strong team culture
- Oversee architecture reviews and provide guidance on scalability, reliability, performance, and security of systems
- Drive delivery of SaaS applications, ensuring robust testing, deployment readiness, and production stability
- Coordinate cross-team initiatives, manage dependencies, and ensure smooth execution across engineering groups
- Partner with product and UX teams to align technical solutions with customer needs and product strategy
- Establish engineering best practices for Agile execution, system design, and operational excellence
- Ensure production readiness through deployment planning, risk assessment, and continuous improvement practices
Strong engineering leadership experience is required, along with deep technical expertise in building and scaling distributed systems in SaaS environments. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical understanding with proven people management and cross-functional leadership skills.
- 13+ years of software engineering experience with at least 4+ years in engineering or technical leadership roles
- Strong background in building scalable, high-availability customer-facing applications
- Solid understanding of SaaS platforms, system design, and modern distributed architectures
- Experience hiring, mentoring, and scaling engineering teams in fast-growing environments
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software delivery practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience working in English-speaking, global engineering environments
