This role sits at the intersection of business operations, enterprise applications, and IT strategy, helping shape how a fast-scaling SaaS organization manages its application ecosystem. You will act as a key connector between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that enterprise tools and platforms are optimized, governed, and aligned with strategic priorities. The position is highly analytical, with a strong focus on application portfolio management, vendor governance, and process rationalization. You will evaluate how systems are used across the organization and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve efficiency. Working closely with IT leadership and business unit owners, you will influence decisions that impact scalability, cost efficiency, and operational clarity. In this role, you will oversee the evaluation, governance, and optimization of enterprise applications, ensuring the organization’s technology ecosystem remains efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
- Manage and rationalize the enterprise application portfolio to improve visibility, usage efficiency, and strategic alignment
- Evaluate incoming applications and participate in technical vetting to ensure business and architectural fit
- Develop capability maps in collaboration with business leaders to align technology with operational needs
- Support vendor lifecycle management, including selection, onboarding, renewal, and decommissioning processes
- Analyze business processes and system usage to identify opportunities for software rationalization and optimization
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to ensure consistent governance of enterprise tools and platforms
- Contribute to data-driven recommendations that improve scalability, cost control, and operational efficiency
This role requires strong experience in enterprise application management, vendor governance, and cross-functional analysis within SaaS or complex IT environments. You should be comfortable working with both technical teams and business stakeholders to translate needs into structured system decisions.
- 3–5 years of experience in business systems analysis, enterprise application management, or IT portfolio governance
- Strong understanding of SaaS ecosystems and enterprise application lifecycles
- Experience with vendor management, including onboarding, evaluation, and renewal processes
- Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into system and capability requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills for working across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in software rationalization, application mapping, or IT portfolio optimization is highly valued
