This role sits at the heart of a modern cloud engineering organization, focused on building and evolving reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure that powers critical production systems. You will play a key part in shaping developer experience and enabling engineering teams to deliver value faster and more safely. Working within a highly collaborative environment, you will design and automate infrastructure, improve system reliability, and reduce operational overhead through thoughtful engineering. The role combines hands-on software development with platform engineering and Site Reliability Engineering practices. You will contribute directly to the evolution of cloud-native systems while also helping teams adopt better tools, processes, and workflows. This is a high-impact position where your work directly influences system stability, developer productivity, and overall engineering efficiency.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure and internal platforms while ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficiency across systems and development workflows.
- Design and develop infrastructure tools, automation systems, libraries, and services that improve platform reliability and developer experience
- Own the reliability, security, and performance of large-scale cloud-based Linux infrastructure
- Participate in on-call rotations and ensure rapid diagnosis and resolution of production incidents
- Lead delivery of technical initiatives by owning milestones, epics, and infrastructure-related projects
- Build and evolve infrastructure-as-code solutions and cloud-native systems
- Identify, design, and implement platform improvements, including new features and automation opportunities
- Reduce operational overhead by eliminating repetitive tasks, alert noise, and manual interventions
- Operate, maintain, and improve production environments, including upgrades, migrations, and system diagnostics
- Enable development teams by providing tools, APIs, and best practices across the software lifecycle
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve engineering processes, systems, and technical workflows
- Document work, share knowledge, and contribute to mentoring and technical enablement across teams
This role requires strong DevOps, SRE, and software engineering expertise, combined with a proactive mindset and experience working in complex cloud environments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering roles with significant production system impact
- Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Solid understanding of Linux systems administration, networking (L3–L7), and system-level troubleshooting
- Experience building, operating, and maintaining scalable SaaS or distributed systems
- Strong coding skills with an emphasis on clean, efficient, and scalable software design
- Experience mentoring or collaborating closely with other engineers to improve team performance
- Deep understanding of reliability engineering, monitoring, and incident response practices
- Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, analytical approach to complex system issues
- Ability to work effectively in agile, fast-moving environments with evolving priorities
- Strong collaboration, communication, and knowledge-sharing skills across technical teams
- A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with resilience in ambiguous or high-pressure situations
