At AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Inc., we believe in the power of community and the value of volunteerism. Our Volunteer Office City 105 department is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our patients and hospital. As a Volunteer, you will be an integral part of our healthcare community, offering support, compassion, and a helping hand to those in need.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff with a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide wayfinding and directional assistance to help individuals navigate the hospital.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to patients during their hospital stay.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and organizing patient records.
  • Engage in special projects and initiatives to enhance the patient experience and hospital operations.
  • Participate in fundraising events and community outreach programs to support AtlantiCare's mission.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring a comfortable and safe space for patients and staff.
  • Attend regular volunteer meetings and training sessions to stay updated on hospital policies and procedures.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.
Qualifications
  • A compassionate and caring nature with a desire to make a positive impact on others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people.
  • Flexibility and availability to commit to a regular volunteer schedule, with a minimum of [insert hours] per week.
