What you need to know about this position:

• The Lead Respiratory Therapist is a Registered Respiratory Therapist responsible and accountable for operationally supervising the Respiratory Therapy Department in conjunction with the Respiratory Therapy Manager.
• The Lead serves as a resource to staff and pro-actively handles the clinical and practice developments in the assigned area.
• Our Respiratory Therapy Services Department has received Quality Respiratory Care Recognition from the American Association for Respiratory Care.
• The base hourly rate for this position is $35.39. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• In this position you will be expected to work 7:00AM – 3:30PM, Monday through Friday, 40 weekly hours.

What is required for this position:

• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Five years of experience preferred
• Indiana State Respiratory Care Practitioner License
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification or Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care required within 12 months of hire
