Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Engineer based in United States.
This role is focused on building the next generation of AI-native creative tools for music production, where engineering, product thinking, and real-world musical workflows come together. You will work in a highly autonomous, fast-moving team shaping fullstack features that directly impact how producers create, experiment, and bring ideas to life. The environment is deeply collaborative, blending engineers, designers, and product managers who iterate quickly from concept to production. You will own features end to end, including design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing optimization in production systems. A strong focus is placed on AI-driven development workflows and agentic engineering practices that accelerate delivery without compromising quality. This is a role for engineers who enjoy building at the intersection of product, AI, and creative expression, where your work is immediately experienced by a global community of music creators.
- Own and deliver fullstack product features end to end, from early prototypes through production deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Build and enhance AI-first music creation experiences, including workflows powered by generative AI and audio ML systems such as synthesis, voice transformation, and composition tools.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to refine ideas, define requirements, and rapidly ship user-facing features.
- Integrate and serve machine learning models in production, building intuitive creator-facing interfaces that translate complex AI capabilities into usable tools.
- Develop and maintain AI-powered agents and workflows that automate or enhance key parts of the product experience.
- Use modern agentic coding tools as part of daily development while maintaining strict standards for code quality, testing, and reliability.
- Apply strong engineering discipline by reviewing diffs carefully, writing tests, and ensuring system robustness before releasing production code.
- Contribute to improving architectural patterns and system reliability across a fast-evolving fullstack codebase.
- 4–7+ years of experience as a product or fullstack engineer, ideally in early-stage or high-ownership product environments.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including React, Next.js, and Node.js, with experience building scalable fullstack applications.
- Proven ability to take ownership of features end to end, from concept and design collaboration through production and iteration.
- Experience working with AI/ML-powered products, including familiarity with model integration, inference workflows, or AI-assisted features.
- Strong product thinking and ability to break down ambiguous requirements into clear technical execution plans.
- Experience working with or integrating generative AI tools, LLM-based systems, or agentic workflows in production environments.
- High attention to code quality, testing, and system reliability, with a strong verification mindset before shipping.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and design teams.
- Bonus: exposure to audio, music production tools, or experience as a creator or musician.
- Competitive salary with annual reviews and equity opportunities
- Unlimited paid time off to support rest and work-life balance
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage for employees and dependents
- 401(k) retirement plan with company match and immediate vesting
- Fully paid parental leave, including extended support for birthing and non-birthing parents
- Flexible remote work options with access to collaborative hubs and creative spaces
- Annual learning and development budget for professional growth and upskilling
- Inclusive team culture with regular events, meetups, and employee communities
- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI-native products shaping the future of music creation
