SALARY- $170K-$175K with a 20% annual bonus potential.

SCHEDULE- Full-Time

SUMMARY

The Float Leadership position is a key leadership role responsible for maintaining stability, continuity, and operational excellence across multiple communities during leadership vacancies, transitions, or other periods of change. Rather than managing a single location, this position provides interim leadership and hands-on support where needed, ensuring that quality of care, regulatory compliance, and operational standards remain consistently upheld.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the acting Executive Director or Department Director when the Community Executive Director or Department Director is on leave, has departed, or during the opening of a new community.
  • Train and lead onboarding of new Executive Directors and other leadership positions as needed.
  • Stabilize Communities during time of leadership change.
  • Foster an environment that focuses on the well-being of Residents, professional development of Team Members, continuous improvement of business processes, and achievement of excellent business results.
  • Establish and communicate long range and short-range community specific business goals in alignment with overall company direction.
  • Implement and interpret policies, rules, and regulations affecting all Community activities and all personnel.
  • Establish procedures for systematic performance of Community functions and services.
  • Coordinate cross-functional department operations within the Community while fostering collaborative partnerships with local agencies and community organizations.
  • Counsel, monitor, and direct the community leadership team to ensure proper implementation of policies and objectives on a regular basis.
  • Establish fee schedules and operating budgets and manage expenses to create a sound financial structure. Maintain accurate records of Community finances and supervise disbursement and accounting for all funds.
  • Establish productive working relationships with health care agencies and other community-based organizations. Actively participate in professional organizations to remain current on the state of total care and assisted living administration.
  • Establish a loss prevention approach that ensures the safety of residents and team members and the protection of the Community assets.
  • Prepare periodic business and financial reports to Owner, Kensington Senior Living, LLC, and other bodies as required.
  • Attend continuing education courses and training classes and participate in other professional development activities as required by state regulations and the company.
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of five (5) years in leadership positions, preferably in high acuity assisted living communities. Direct hands-on operational experience required.
  • State licensing as an Assisted Living Administrator or Nursing Home Administrator (as required).
  • Knowledge of geriatric care practices, chronic disease management, and Resident-centered care models.
  • Must exhibit a strong positive attitude toward customer service and have a genuine interest in geriatric care and uphold the philosophy of the Community.
  • Ability to calculate figures related to budgetary items, staffing needs, medication dosages, and amount such as percentages and area.
  • Must be able to communicate with people of all ages clearly and proficiently, while maintaining an energetic and positive attitude. Must be able to read and write English.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, Residents, families, and the general public.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced care environment while maintaining standards of care and compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-based environment.
  • Must possess strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Must possess good skills in planning, organizing, directing, and managing.
  • Demonstrates a track record of a good sense of efficiency and delegation of work assignments.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the Community for extended periods of time while performing job duties.
  • Ability to lift, move, or assist with items or equipment up to 25-50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, holidays, rotating shifts, and occasional overtime.
