Job Description

Director of Applied Intelligence, Products Portfolio

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Applied Intelligence, Products Portfolio based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of healthcare strategy, product innovation, and advanced analytics, driving the evolution of a cross-domain intelligence platform that supports enterprise-scale transformation. You will shape how data, AI, and analytics are translated into reusable products, frameworks, and insights that improve clinical, operational, and financial outcomes across healthcare systems. The position plays a pivotal role in identifying high-impact opportunities that span multiple domains and turning them into scalable platform capabilities. You will collaborate closely with consulting leaders, product owners, architects, and data teams to unify fragmented capabilities into a coherent intelligence ecosystem. The environment is highly collaborative, fast-evolving, and impact-driven, with strong exposure to executive stakeholders and real-world healthcare challenges. This is an opportunity to influence both immediate client outcomes and long-term platform strategy in a mission-critical industry.

Accountabilities:
  • Drive cross-domain product strategy by identifying high-value healthcare analytics and AI use cases that span clinical, operational, and financial domains, and converting them into scalable, reusable platform capabilities.
  • Partner with consulting and delivery teams to design and activate pilot solutions, validating new insight-driven methodologies and demonstrating measurable client impact.
  • Define and manage a portfolio of applied intelligence opportunities, prioritizing based on business value, feasibility, and potential for repeatable productization.
  • Act as a key connector between product, architecture, and consulting teams to align platform capabilities with real-world healthcare workflows and delivery needs.
  • Translate successful engagement patterns into standardized frameworks, enabling scalable consulting delivery and future subscription or product offerings.
  • Collaborate with platform architects and engineering teams to define shared capabilities such as data services, AI enablement layers, and analytics frameworks.
  • Present roadmap progress, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and investment priorities.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, strategy, healthcare consulting, analytics, or platform-based technology roles, ideally within healthcare or health tech environments.
  • Strong background working across multiple domains, with proven ability to synthesize complex healthcare challenges into structured product and platform opportunities.
  • Experience with data platforms, analytics ecosystems, AI/ML concepts, or enterprise-scale product frameworks (hands-on technical depth not required but strong fluency expected).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders, including consultants, architects, and executive leadership, without direct authority.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between technical, clinical, and business perspectives.
  • Experience in healthcare analytics, consulting, or enterprise transformation initiatives strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees such as MBA, MPH, or related fields are a plus.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based incentive compensation.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Paid time off, holidays, parental leave, and wellness programs.
  • Flexible remote work arrangement supporting work-life balance.
  • Professional development opportunities in healthcare, analytics, and product leadership.
  • Exposure to large-scale healthcare transformation initiatives with significant industry impact.
