Job Description
Warehouse Worker – Tagging & Inventory (Teardown Department)
MD Turbines, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to support our Teardown Department. This position plays a critical role in the organization, identification, and inventory management of aircraft engine parts following the teardown process. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced aviation environment.
Responsibilities:
Tag, label, and identify aircraft engine parts accurately following company procedures
Organize and maintain inventory of parts removed during engine teardown operations
Verify part numbers, serial numbers, and documentation for accuracy
Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation activities
Maintain accurate records in inventory tracking systems and databases
Ensure parts are properly stored and organized within designated warehouse locations
Work closely with the teardown team to ensure efficient processing of incoming components
Follow company safety procedures and quality standards at all times
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
Assist with additional warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous warehouse, inventory, or stockroom experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Basic computer skills and ability to enter inventory data accurately
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong organizational and time management skills
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
Experience with inventory management systems
Familiarity with aviation, mechanical, or industrial parts preferred
Experience with tagging, cataloging, or warehouse organization processes
Forklift experience is a plus but not required
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
Comfortable working in a warehouse and aviation maintenance environment
