IR Assistant in Santa Fe, New Mexico at X-Ray Associates of New Mexico

A full-time IR Medical Scheduler is sought by X-Ray Associates of New Mexico. This position is located in our X-Ray Associates at Santa Fe Office.

Duties include taking incoming calls from patients and providers to schedule Imaging appointments, triage incoming calls for all facilities to provide patient scheduling, billing, and information services. You will make outgoing calls to patients for orders that are not scheduled yet, make outgoing calls to providers to obtain corrected imaging orders when needed. Communicate with all facilities for same day or next day add on appointments.

Position hours are: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday.

• Requires a H.S. diploma or GED, with two years' of previous medical setting customer service experience.
• Excellent customer service skills are needed and confidentiality is required.
• You must be able to operate a computer using Windows operating system.
• Knowledge of medical terminology/anatomy is highly desirable.
• Previous knowledge of radiology scheduling is preferred.
• Experience on an EMR is required.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred
