This is a senior commercial leadership opportunity focused on accelerating growth across an established aftermarket business in industrial automation and manufacturing.
You will lead and integrate project and parts sales functions into a unified, high-performing commercial organization.
The role combines strategic sales leadership, operational excellence, customer engagement, and revenue growth across multiple aftermarket offerings.
You’ll shape commercial processes, strengthen customer relationships, and create scalable sales practices that support long-term expansion.
A major focus will be building consistency across the sales organization, including CRM adoption, performance management, and process standardization.
You’ll also contribute to broader growth initiatives, including organic expansion, strategic partnerships, acquisition opportunities, and the development of a global sales and service network.
This hybrid leadership role offers the opportunity to influence a growing international business while leading teams through organizational change and transformation.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead all commercial functions within the aftermarket division, including contract sales, parts sales, repair and refurbishment offerings, strategic deal leadership, negotiations, and closing.
  • Integrate currently fragmented sales functions into a cohesive, high-performing organization with clear responsibilities, consistent processes, and shared commercial objectives.
  • Lead, develop, and align the aftermarket sales team while establishing a culture centered on accountability, performance, collaboration, and customer success.
  • Implement and optimize CRM processes, including Salesforce, to improve pipeline visibility, sales consistency, forecasting, reporting, and overall commercial effectiveness.
  • Establish standardized sales processes and operating practices that improve efficiency, scalability, and execution across aftermarket functions.
  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans designed to increase aftermarket revenue and expand customer relationships across major industrial and manufacturing verticals.
  • Drive organic growth by strengthening customer engagement, improving support, identifying additional opportunities, and expanding the value delivered to existing accounts.
  • Lead complex strategic deals from opportunity development through negotiation and close, applying strong commercial judgment and exceptional closing skills.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on acquisition opportunities and other strategic initiatives designed to strengthen market position and expand capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of a global sales and service network that supports customers and creates scalable opportunities for aftermarket growth.
  • Lead through organizational change, bringing together teams with different structures and practices into a cohesive commercial function.
  • Monitor commercial performance and operational effectiveness while identifying opportunities to improve processes, customer experience, and revenue generation.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in sales, sales leadership, engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience in aftermarket sales, preferably within industrial, manufacturing, automation, equipment, or other technically complex environments.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth and leading commercial or sales organizations.
  • Experience managing and integrating teams, particularly within environments where sales functions or processes require greater alignment and standardization.
  • Strong expertise with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and demonstrated ability to implement or optimize standardized sales processes.
  • Strong strategic sales capabilities, including complex deal management, negotiation, business development, and closing.
  • Operationally minded leader with the ability to manage complex sales functions while improving efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills and the ability to identify opportunities for account expansion and long-term revenue growth.
  • Ability to develop and execute commercial strategies across multiple customer segments and industrial verticals.
  • Strong leadership and change-management capabilities, with the ability to bring fragmented teams together around common goals and performance expectations.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Willingness and ability to work in a hybrid environment, with the role ideally based in Holland, Michigan, while consideration may also be given to candidates near Detroit, MI; Greenville, SC; Nashville, TN; or Salt Lake City, UT.
Benefits:
  • Hybrid work arrangement with remote flexibility.
  • Opportunity to work from or near multiple locations, including Holland, Michigan, Detroit, Michigan, Greenville, South Carolina, Nashville, Tennessee, or Salt Lake City, Utah.
  • Senior leadership opportunity with significant influence over aftermarket sales strategy, commercial operations, and revenue growth.

  • Exposure to complex industrial automation, manufacturing, and aftermarket business environments.
  • Opportunity to build scalable sales processes and CRM capabilities across a growing organization.
  • Ability to contribute to organic growth, strategic partnerships, acquisition initiatives, and global sales and service expansion.
  • Opportunity to develop and strengthen customer relationships across major industrial and manufacturing verticals.
  • Significant scope to influence commercial strategy, operational efficiency, team performance, and long-term business growth.
