General Job Summary:

Baking Teller who assists the Branch Manager in the efficient operation of the Bank, friendly and prompt service and support of other Bank functions. Teller must be well versed in fraud detection, understanding the security procedures of cashing checks and accepting deposits. They must develop and maintain basic knowledge of Bank services and products in order to direct customers for further assistance. Assist in special projects or other assignments as requested.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a paying and receiving teller window

• Use and maintenance of Teller Cash Recyclers(TCR)

• Handle customer transactions in a personalized, efficient and confidential manner

• Comply with established Bank policies and procedures

• Open and close the Bank with an emphasis on security

• Complete daily branch settlement

• Knowledge of Bank services and products

• Assist with daily settlement of the ATM

• Assist with the daily processing of Night Deposit

• Balance teller drawer and TCR at the end of day

• Cross-train to back up the platform associates

• Settlement of Cash Advance Machine

• Process and distribute daily mail

• Function as the Call Center for bank, routing calls appropriately

• Proper Record Retention

• Complete Bank required classes

• Understand Funds Availability; identify needs for Holds (Reg CC)

• Review and maintain maintenance reports

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Multi-task with an emphasis on accuracy, organization skills, and problem solving

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers a general understanding of computer functions

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/2 years Banking Experience preferred.

Pay Range: 45k-55k
