Inventory Control Specialist in Santa Cruz, California at Staff of Life

FULL TIME INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory counts throughout the store. Daily scanning and counting of inventory in the store and warehouse.

Essential Job Functions

• Keep careful track of on hand amounts in Catapult.
• Scan and count everything in the store and warehouse regularly in order to maintain correct inventory levels throughout the store and in Catapult.
• Attends all applicable trainings, and be able to use or be certified in use of appropriate equipment (including forklifts, pallet jacks, handheld, etc.) needed for store or facility.
• Maintains courteous relationships with neighbors, drivers and vendors
• Follows Staff of Life standards as they pertain to receiving practices.
• Follows and complies with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adheres to safe work practices.
• Operates all equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years prior receiving experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Ability to work independently yet have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with other team members and Store leadership
• Ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Attention to detail
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word, Email)

Physical Requirements

• Stooping and bending
• Ability to operate all necessary equipment.
