About the Job: Candidates should have demonstrated experience providing explicit, systematic phonics instruction using established programs such as Reading, SPIRE, and Sounds Sensible. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of evidence-based phonics instructional practices, consistently follow established lesson sequences with fidelity, and confidently deliver instruction that effectively supports the development of foundational reading skills.

The program will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

  • In-Person Programs: $25/hr - $27/hr

As an Education Champion, you'll provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in core subjects like Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Regents exam prep. You’ll collaborate with teachers and school leaders to deliver engaging, personalized learning strategies that help students thrive academically and personally.

Qualities We Seek:

• Passion for Learning: Dedicated to supporting academic and personal success, especially for underserved students.
• Strong Academics: Degree-seeking student or graduate with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Committed and Flexible: Available to work 10-35 hours per week at assigned school(s)
