This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Financial & Administrative Applications Manager based in United States.
This role provides operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of business-critical financial and administrative applications. You will oversee application support, service delivery, reporting, vendor relationships, incident management, and lifecycle activities. The position partners closely with Finance, Accounting, Billing, Procurement, HR, and other business teams to ensure technology remains reliable, secure, and aligned with organizational objectives. You will also lead improvements in reporting, business intelligence, operational efficiency, and user experience. The role combines people leadership, technical application management, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement. It offers the opportunity to shape enterprise systems and processes within a collaborative, service-focused environment.
- Lead the day-to-day support, administration, and operational management of financial and administrative applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and service requests while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
- Establish and monitor service levels, operational metrics, performance indicators, and support processes, using these insights to improve reliability, efficiency, workflows, and the overall user experience.
- Provide leadership during application incidents, outages, and production support activities, coordinating appropriate resources and ensuring effective communication and resolution.
- Lead, mentor, and develop application support, reporting, and operations team members while establishing priorities, managing workloads, promoting accountability, and encouraging cross-training and knowledge sharing.
- Build strong working relationships with Finance, Accounting, Billing, Procurement, Revenue Cycle Operations, HR, Pricing, Risk Management, and other stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor on application capabilities, limitations, enhancements, and operational opportunities.
- Manage relationships with application vendors, consultants, and service providers, including escalations, roadmap discussions, product enhancements, upgrades, issue resolution, and strategic initiatives.
- Lead the delivery and support of operational reporting, dashboards, business intelligence, KPIs, and analytical solutions using technologies such as Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Partner with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and improve operational visibility and decision-making while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, governance, accessibility, and usability.
- Support application upgrades, enhancements, releases, testing, validation, readiness reviews, deployment planning, documentation, training, and other lifecycle activities in collaboration with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve application stability, automation, monitoring, support efficiency, operational governance, and user satisfaction, while contributing to strategic planning for the financial and administrative systems roadmap.
- Support a broad application portfolio that may include Elite 3E, Intapp platforms, UKG, time entry, billing and collections, revenue management, procurement, accounts payable, expense management, financial reporting, Power BI, SSRS, and related enterprise applications.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience supporting enterprise business applications is required, along with at least 3 years of experience leading teams, projects, or operational functions.
- Experience supporting enterprise financial systems, ERP platforms, HR systems, and related business applications is required, with experience in financial, accounting, administrative, or legal technology environments preferred.
- Experience working in professional services, legal, financial services, or comparable environments is preferred, together with a strong understanding of financial, administrative, and operational business processes.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report development, administration, and support is required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard development, reporting, data modeling concepts, and business analytics, is required.
- Experience with Elite 3E, Intapp products, UKG, or comparable enterprise platforms is preferred, as is knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Experience working with application integrations, data flows, enterprise reporting architectures, and business intelligence platforms is highly valuable.
- Strong customer service, stakeholder relationship management, vendor management, communication, and collaboration skills are essential for working effectively across technical and business teams.
- The ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, solve operational problems, communicate clearly, and drive continuous improvement is required.
- Strong organizational skills, accountability, adaptability, and a service-oriented mindset are important for succeeding in a complex, high-impact application environment.
