Service Assistant in Elmendorf, Texas at TEXIAN INVESTMENTS LLC

Billy Bob’s Repair and Tire is looking for a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Service Assistant to join our team.

The Service Assistant will play an important role in supporting our Service Shop Manager and Office Manager while helping ensure our customers receive excellent service from the moment they arrive.

What You’ll Do
Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions and requests
Greet and check in customers and their trucks or equipment
Gather and document truck and equipment information, including mileage and other necessary details
Assist the Service Shop Manager and Office Manager with daily operations
Process customers billing and invoicing
Assist with warranty claims and warranty-related paperwork
Communicate with customers regarding service, repairs, and billing
Maintain accurate customer and vehicle records
Help keep the service process organized and running smoothly
Provide professional, friendly customer service at all times

What We’re Looking For
Previous customer service experience required
Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable answering phones and working directly with customers
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy service environment
Detail-oriented and accurate with paperwork, billing, and customer information
Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Comfortable working around trucks, heavy equipment, and a busy repair shop environment
Previous experience with automotive, diesel, heavy-duty equipment, service writing, billing, or warranty is a plus
