Shadow Wood Country Club is currently looking for Starter/Rangers, who are positive, energetic, and eager to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate would pride themselves on their attention to detail and offering an exemplary level of customer service. This position is part time, 8 to 32 hours per week, with a pay rate of $15.00/hour.

Position Summary:

The Starter/Rangers are expected to service the needs of the membership, and their guests, by providing a high-level of customer service, communicating with all staff, monitoring pace of play, ensuring tee sheet accuracy, and starting member play on time.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for starting and monitoring play on the golf course to help insure smooth play for all members and guests
• Enforce club rules and policies and report violations to the Golf Shop
• Participate in timely emergency response

Physical Demands:

• May need to sit or stand throughout shift
• May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day

Experience Required:

• Prior experience in the golf business is preferred, but not necessary
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
