Public Safety Dispatcher - Gated Community in Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania at A POCONO COUNTRY PLACE PROPERTY

We are seeking a professional, customer-service-oriented Public Safety Dispatcher. In this role you will focus heavily on community relations, access control, and neighborhood safety. You will serve as the central hub for communication, managing resident requests, monitoring security systems, and dispatching our Public Safety patrol units.

Key Responsibilities:
• Community Communication: Answer non-emergency and emergency calls from residents, addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
• Access Control Management: Verify and maintain logs through the community management software.
• Patrol Dispatching: Radio and dispatch private public safety officers to residential calls for service, alarms, and rules enforcement.
• Surveillance & Monitoring: Monitor CCTV cameras, gate sensors, and fire/burglar alarm panels across the property.
• Emergency Coordination: Act as the primary liaison to local police, fire, and EMS departments during critical incidents.
• Incident Logging: Maintain accurate digital logs of all shifts, incidents, and visitor traffic.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient under pressure.
• Proficiency with computers, multi-line phone systems, and radio equipment.
• Prior experience in security, dispatch, or hospitality is highly preferred but not required (training provided).
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Schedule & Availability:
• 24/7/365 Operations: Our dispatch center never closes. Candidates must have open availability as schedules will vary.
• Shift Expectations: Shift assignments may include days, afternoons, overnights, weekends, and holidays to ensure continuous protection for our community.
