Advanced Dermatology, P.C. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Medical Assistant to join our Paramus team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Medical Assistant looking to take the next step in their career and assume a leadership role within the organization.

Position Summary
The Lead Medical Assistant will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge, leadership potential, professionalism, and a commitment to supporting both providers and fellow team members in delivering exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience required.
  • EMA experience is required.
  • Cosmetic dermatology experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and ability to lead by example.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with providers, management, and staff.
Requirements:
  • Must be available to work full-time in the Paramus office.
  • Current part-time employees interested in transitioning to a full-time schedule are encouraged to apply.
  • Full-time Medical Assistants from other Advanced Dermatology locations are also encouraged to apply.
  • Must be willing to travel to other New Jersey and/or Manhattan locations as needed for training and operational support.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on Paramus office operational hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a clinical leader and resource for Medical Assistants within the office.
  • Support provider workflows and ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new staff members.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, clinical protocols, and documentation standards.
  • Promote a positive team environment focused on patient satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvement and staff development.
