Job Title: Machine Maintenance Technician

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour

Schedule: Flexible start and end times

About the Role

Menehune Water Company is looking for a Machine Maintenance Technician to join our 5 Gallon Division. You’ll keep our bottling machinery running at peak efficiency through inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair, so we can keep delivering pure, high-quality water to customers across Hawaii.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect production machinery routinely and correct issues promptly
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
• Complete repairs and part replacements
• Calibrate and fine-tune machines for performance and product quality
• Keep detailed maintenance records, including work orders and parts inventory
• Coordinate with the production team to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption
• Follow all safety protocols and help maintain a safe work environment

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance, including mechanical and electrical wire repair and pneumatic and hydraulic theory and procedure
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to lift and handle heavy objects
• Familiarity with safety regulations and a strong commitment to safe work practices

Nice to Have

• Technical certification or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
