This role sits at the intersection of strategy, media planning, and client advisory, where you will help shape integrated digital media solutions for a diverse portfolio of brand and agency clients. You will act as a trusted partner, translating business objectives into high-impact media strategies across digital channels such as programmatic, search, and social. Working in a collaborative, fast-evolving environment, you will contribute to campaign planning, execution oversight, and performance optimization. The position requires both strategic thinking and hands-on media expertise, along with the ability to present insights and recommendations directly to client stakeholders. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior planners and elevating planning standards across the team. This is a highly client-facing role where innovation, precision, and relationship-building all come together to drive measurable campaign success.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing integrated media strategies while ensuring strong execution, performance, and client satisfaction. You will collaborate across internal teams and external partners to deliver data-driven, high-quality media solutions.

  • Develop and present integrated media recommendations in collaboration with research and strategy teams
  • Manage end-to-end media planning, stewardship, and quality control for assigned clients
  • Translate business objectives into effective cross-channel digital media strategies
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to align campaigns with KPIs and performance goals
  • Negotiate with media vendors to secure optimal inventory and pricing
  • Oversee insertion orders, campaign updates, and media plan revisions
  • Ensure accurate campaign trafficking, budgeting, and performance delivery
  • Partner with ad operations, search, social, and analytics teams to execute campaigns
  • Mentor and support junior media planning team members
  • Provide thought leadership on digital trends, including AI, privacy changes, and emerging media innovations
  • Assist with billing processes, reconciliation, and campaign reporting
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong digital media planning experience, client-facing expertise, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. You are both analytical and strategic, with a strong understanding of how digital ecosystems drive business outcomes.

  • 4+ years of experience in digital media buying and planning
  • Prior experience in client servicing or account management roles
  • Strong understanding of programmatic media, real-time bidding, and digital ecosystems
  • Experience working with DSPs and holistic media planning tools
  • Proficiency in syndicated research tools for media strategy development
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with detail-oriented execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving and issue-resolution capabilities
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, collaborative teams
  • Familiarity with digital reporting platforms (e.g., dashboards, analytics tools) is a plus
  • Bonus: DSP hands-on experience, ad server experience, or industry certifications
