Connecticut GI, a division of GI alliance,is looking for afull-time experienced Insurance Collections Coordinator to join our Rocky Hill Care Center!We are the largest gastroenterology practice in the state of Connecticut with 30 Care Centers and still growing. Duties/Responsibilities:
Research and resolve unpaid claims in established timeframe
Research and resolve unpaid claims in established timeframe
Research and resolve claims found in all assigned workqueues in established timeframes

Research and resolve clearinghouse rejection/denials

Maintain current knowledge of covered and non-covered CPT and ICD 10 coding by using monthly payer bulletins and updates provided by Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager

Maintain, update and distribute insurance participation lists

Maintain incoming mail and/or fax communications which includes reviewing, distributing and uploading as needed

Experience: 2-4 years of prior insurance experience is preferred. Prior appeals experience electronically and ability to obtain claim status needed.
