- Design, develop, and enhance product features within secure and compliance-regulated cloud environments, with a strong focus on security, privacy, auditability, and operational resilience.
- Build and maintain capabilities tailored to government cloud deployments, including authentication systems, compliance controls, audit logging, and operational tooling.
- Create abstractions, developer tools, and automation frameworks that simplify feature development, testing, and deployment across both commercial and government cloud environments.
- Improve platform observability, monitoring, deployment workflows, and operational efficiency to support scalable and reliable cloud services.
- Identify and remediate security gaps, adapt product functionality to regulatory requirements, and implement solutions that align with government standards.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, compliance, and engineering teams to translate regulatory requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Mentor engineers on secure software development practices and support customers through complex technical challenges, including participation in on-call responsibilities.
- Approximately 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering high-quality production systems.
- Strong programming expertise in modern software development environments, with the ability to build and maintain scalable applications across the technology stack.
- Experience working within security-sensitive or compliance-regulated environments such as FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar frameworks.
- Solid understanding of application security principles, including authentication, authorization, encryption, audit logging, data retention, and privacy controls.
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, infrastructure automation, distributed systems, and modern development practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams while balancing customer needs, compliance requirements, and engineering priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset and willingness to investigate complex technical issues.
- Experience mentoring peers, sharing technical knowledge, and contributing to a positive and inclusive engineering culture.
- U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to perform work while located within the United States.
- Competitive salary ranging from $210,000 to $220,000 annually, plus equity participation.
