Manufacturing Production Lead in Zeeland, Michigan at Innotec

The Manufacturing Production Leader at Innotec supports daily operations in a fast-paced, automated manufacturing environment. This role contributes to operational efficiency, scheduling effectiveness, and overall production performance, while supporting a culture of integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within a growing global organization.

• Ensure achievement of monthly manufacturing KPIs and performance targets
• Maintain structured production meeting rhythms to drive accountability and consistency
• Troubleshoot and resolve real-time production, tooling, and process issues on the floor
• Lead daily operations within a production cell, ensuring safe and efficient execution
• Work directly with operators to support production, remove obstacles, and improve performance
• Optimize labor utilization, cost efficiency, and workflow processes
• Manage inventory levels to support operational efficiency and minimize shortages or excess
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and own production-related projects
• Share best practices across manufacturing lines (cells) to improve overall performance
• Monitor and improve production metrics, including quality, efficiency, and throughput
• Support implementation of lean manufacturing principles and process improvements

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a production supervisory or leadership role
• Experience working in a manufacturing or automated production environment required
• Exposure to Lean manufacturing principles preferred
• Experience with production scheduling, KPI tracking, and process optimization
• Familiarity with inventory management and labor cost analysis preferred
• This is an onsite position based in Zeeland, MI.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
