This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Instanda Business Analyst in India.
This role is focused on bridging business and technology within the insurance domain, with a strong emphasis on the Instanda platform and digital transformation initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders to capture, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable insurance solutions. The position involves contributing to end-to-end implementation projects, improving process efficiency, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery. You will operate in a collaborative yet independent capacity, engaging with both technical teams and business users across geographies, including US-based stakeholders. The role offers exposure to complex insurance products, regulatory environments, and modern digital insurance platforms. It is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping digital insurance journeys in a fast-evolving consulting environment.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Instanda-based insurance platform implementations
- Map current and future-state insurance processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, and solution validation sessions independently
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery
- Support testing, UAT, and validation activities to ensure solutions meet business expectations
- Contribute to process optimization initiatives within insurance product lifecycle and operations
- Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, FRDs, and process maps
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2+ years on the Instanda platform
- Strong domain knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance
- Good understanding of reinsurance and workers’ compensation processes
- Experience working across insurance product lifecycle and regulatory requirements
- Strong process mapping skills using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Bizagi
- Proven ability to lead requirement gathering workshops independently
- Excellent documentation skills including BRDs, FRDs, and user stories
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience with US-based clients
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence is a plus
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
