This position is responsible for verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents to maintain inventory accuracy and support supply chain operations. The Receiving Clerk collaborates closely with warehouse staff, procurement teams, and logistics personnel to resolve discrepancies and facilitate smooth inventory flow. By maintaining detailed records and utilizing SAP CRM systems, the role helps optimize inventory management and supports timely order fulfillment. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with SAP CRM or similar inventory management systems.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control processes.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the wholesale trade industry or a related supply chain environment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse settings.
- Additional training or certification in logistics or inventory management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred).
- Must have reliable transportation and a great attendance record.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Use SAP CRM to record receipt of goods, update inventory records, and track shipment statuses.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to organize the proper storage and handling of received materials.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the appropriate departments for resolution.
- Assist in periodic inventory audits and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of all received goods and related documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
- Is hands-on and will be cross trained in other functions within the warehouse to have a well-rounded understanding of the workings within the warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned based on business needs.
