About the Role:
Global Clinical Services is seeking a motivated and compassionate LLMSW Therapist to provide community-based behavioral health support through the Healthy Start Maternal Infant Health Program. This hybrid position combines mobile therapy, community outreach, telehealth, and occasional home visits to support maternal mental health and family wellness throughout Genesee County.
As a contracted MIHP Perinatal Therapist, you will deliver virtual and occasionally in-person therapeutic services to new moms. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for mothers in Genesee, Co. As mothers graduate from the Genesee Co. Heathy Start program, we want to ensure continuity of care and access to experienced therapists, and your assistance creating a path forward to continue therapy services will be essential in enhancing the outcomes we’re achieving through our partnership with Healthy Start.
Position Overview:
- Hybrid/mobile therapy position with some home and community visits
- Self-scheduled 10-20-hour work week
- Average caseload of approximately 15–20 clients
- Clients may be seen weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly based on clinical need
- Opportunity to work independently while receiving ongoing support and clinical supervision
Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy and behavioral health support to maternal infant health consumers
- Conduct community-based and home-based visits as clinically appropriate
- Maintain timely, accurate, and ethical documentation within 24 hours of each client interaction
- Communicate effectively with consumers, care teams, and partnering agencies
- Demonstrate responsiveness, professionalism, and attentiveness to client needs
- Participate in weekly supervision and team meetings
- Maintain compliance with agency and contractual documentation standards
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work required
- Current Michigan LLMSW license required
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally for mobile/community visits
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Experience with maternal mental health, trauma, family systems, or community mental health preferred
