Job Description

Demand Generation Manager

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada · Marketing

About Us:

Operto helps hospitality teams deliver seamless guest stays, run more connected operations, and capture more of the value behind every stay.

Built on smart access, in-unit controls, and connected devices, Operto connects the systems, workflows, and teams behind the scenes bridging the physical and operational layers of hospitality. From guest access and in-stay experience to task management and team coordination, we help operators reduce friction, stay aligned, and operate more efficiently at scale.

We’re designed to work with the tools that are already in use, acting as a flexible layer that connects various tech stack rather than replacing it giving operators more visibility, control, and consistency across the guest journey.

Now, we’re building on that foundation.

With Operto ONE, we’re introducing new ways to support operations through intelligent automation helping teams respond faster, reduce manual work, and strengthen direct control over the guest experience and the revenue behind it.

As hospitality evolves, our focus remains the same: simpler operations, better coordination, and helping operators deliver great stays while keeping more of what they earn.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Demand Generation Manager who knows how to take an idea and turn it into measurable impact. Campaigns that launch, programs that perform, and marketing that drives pipeline.

You’ll work directly with the Head of Marketing to build and optimize campaigns across email, web, webinars, events, social, and nurture programs. This role is about more than running channels. We’re looking for someone who understands how marketing connects to pipeline, conversion, and revenue — and who enjoys figuring out what’s working, improving what isn’t, and scaling what performs.

This is a highly hands-on role for someone who likes building, testing, optimizing, and moving quickly with a lean team. If you enjoy turning marketing into measurable business results, we’d like to meet you.

What You’ll Own

You’ll take campaigns from idea to launch to follow-through, with real ownership over execution, performance, and results. This role works best for someone who is comfortable switching between tasks, managing details, and keeping things moving without needing a lot of structure.

Build and execute campaigns

  • Launch multi-channel campaigns across email, web, webinars, events, social, and nurture programs

  • Create emails, landing pages, and supporting campaign assets

  • Work with agencies and internal stakeholders to get campaigns out the door and performing

Improve funnel performance
  • Build nurture flows and follow-up programs that help turn engagement into pipeline

  • Track campaign and funnel performance to identify what’s working and where we can improve conversion

  • Help improve lead management, reporting, and marketing dashboards over time

Help keep the engine running
  • Support webinar and event execution, including promotion and follow-up

  • Manage newsletters, blog publishing, and content distribution

  • Keep campaigns organized, on track, and moving

  • Use AI and modern marketing tools to improve execution and efficiency

What Success Looks Like
  • Campaigns launch consistently and drive measurable engagement

  • Marketing activity feels connected across channels throughout the funnel

  • Leads are nurtured, followed up with and converted more effectively over time

  • Content gets reused strategically and contributes to pipeline generation

  • Marketing becomes more efficient, data-informed, and mature as we scale

What We’re Looking For
  • You’re someone who enjoys building, testing, and improving — not just planning

  • You’re comfortable working across multiple channels and juggling moving pieces

  • You understand how marketing connects to pipeline, conversion, and revenue outcomes

  • You’re organized, proactive, and able to keep projects moving forward

  • You take ownership and pride in shipping great work without a lot of red tape

  • You enjoy digging into performance data to understand what’s working and where we can improve

Experience & Tools
  • 3–5 years of experience in demand generation, B2B SaaS marketing, or campaign execution

  • Experience executing multi-channel campaigns end-to-end, including webinars and event marketing

  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or similar CRM / automation tools

  • Comfortable building landing pages, publishing content in a CMS, and managing campaign assets independently

  • Strong copywriting instincts — you’re comfortable writing emails, landing pages, and campaign messaging that gets people to take action

  • Familiarity with marketing attribution and reporting, especially around SQLs, conversion, and pipeline

  • Experience using AI tools to improve marketing workflows and execution. Bonus if you’ve experimented with automations, workflows, or AI agents

  • A strong eye for design — you don’t need to be a designer, but you know what looks good and feel confident working in Canva to create high-conversion assets

  • Self-sufficient, organized, and comfortable moving quickly, testing ideas, and continuously improving performance
