APRN - Gastroenterology Clinic in Windsor, Vermont at Mount Ascutney Hospital

Position Summary

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center is seeking an APP (APRN or PA) to join the Surgical Services and Gastroenterology team within the Specialty Services Clinic. The role would include: Diagnosis and treatment of common digestive symptoms and disorders such as GERD, dysphagia, abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome, fecal incontinence, chronic diarrhea, constipation and inflammatory bowel disease. Additionally, this role will involve evaluating patients in need of common endoscopic procedures (colonoscopy and upper endoscopy with balloon dilation). This APP position will work closely with experienced general surgeons and a gastroenterologist who is on site once a week.

Qualifications

Knowledge of and experience with GI patients, telemedicine, and building population management tools. Desire to also see general gastroenterology patients in the clinic, and endoscopy setting. Excitement to work as a GI Hospitalist and/or GI Virtualist (telemedicine inpatient consults) 1-2 weeks per month.

Required Licensure/Certifications

Board Certified/Board Eligible. Eligible to obtain a State of Vermont Medical License. Eligible to obtain federal DEA registration.
