Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts by delivering proactive client service, supporting renewals and new business activity, and providing strategic coverage recommendations to meet client needs. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is committed to delivering exceptional client service while supporting account retention and growth.
Work Location: This is a hybrid position reporting to our North Easton, MA office.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Deliver responsive, high-quality service while serving as a primary point of contact for commercial clients, addressing policy inquiries, service requests, renewals, and coverage questions.
- Manage and service commercial lines accounts, including quoting new business, marketing coverage, and remarketing accounts with multiple carrier partners.
- Review and analyze client accounts to identify coverage gaps, cost-saving opportunities, and risk management solutions that align with client needs.
- Prepare submissions, gather underwriting information, and negotiate with carriers to secure competitive terms, pricing, and coverage options.
- Support Producers with new business opportunities and renewal strategies while collaborating with internal teams to achieve retention and growth objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, carrier representatives, and internal stakeholders to support exceptional service and long-term account success.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the agency management system, ensuring policy information, communications, and account activity remain current.
- Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, certificates, billing inquiries, and related account servicing needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to support workflow efficiency, operational excellence, and a seamless client experience.
- Stay informed on industry trends, insurance products, carrier requirements, and regulatory updates through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance or a related account management role required.
- Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty insurance license required.
- Experience working with commercial insurance products, coverages, underwriting practices, and carrier marketing processes preferred.
- Proficiency with agency management systems (such as AMS360) and Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented culture.

Compensation Range: $75,000 - $95,000 base salary, dependent upon candidate experience.
*A wide salary range is posted for this position, and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the required state pay transparency law. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
