Part-time Housekeeper in Farmington, Utah at Bridge House LLC

Bridge House is a small stabilization and assessment residential program for adults struggling with mental health illness and/or substance abuse issues. We are located in a peaceful and beautiful setting in Farmington, Utah. See www.bridgehousehealth.com for more information. We are looking for a part-time housekeeper to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities
The part-time houskeeper will work daytime hours (afternoons, M-F): 25-29 hours per week. Daily cleaning and maintenance of two adjacent residential treatment homes to make sure that they meet housekeeping sanitation requirements and provide a comfortable space for residents and employees.

Job Duties
• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
• Washing windows
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
• Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
• Using cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools and cleaning agents
• Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
• Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
• Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
• Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience required, references requested
• Knowledge of and experience in cleaning and sanitizing
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment
• Ability to adapt to different situations and change work processes to accommodate resident and staff needs
